Business Development Representative - Remote - Software as a Service Trucking

Up to $11,500 / 5 sales monthly.

We are looking for people who have been sold software solutions before and have good knowledge of the transportation industry.

Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell SaaS solutions using a solid argumentation via cold-calling and prospecting
- Build and maintain a continuous sales pipeline that closes deals
- Make presentations at customers’ offices or online video meetings and screen-sharing with Google Meet
- Diligently follow-up to help customers through the buying process
- Provide customer’s employees with product training if required (in-person or remotely using AnyDesk)
- Identify customer needs and be able to propose solutions
- Continuously improve through customer feedback
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information (customer feedback) in our Hubspot CRM
- Be viewed by the customer as an industry expert on products and solutions offerings

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of proven success in a B2B sales environment
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience and proven success in cold-calling and developing new SaaS business
- Excellent computer skills, being able to learn and understand web-based and mobile apps
- Ability to work independently and meet the sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and negotiation skills
- Sales experience utilizing remote-based product demos is strongly preferred
- Great communication skills - both oral and written - with strong attention to detail
- Good knowledge of the intermodal transportation business is an asset
- Having a professional network in the transportation field is an asset
- Speaking another language (Spanish, French, Punjabi, Hindu, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Romanian, etc.) is considered an asset
- Valid driver's license and vehicle required (some local traveling may be required)
- Living in the United States or Canada is an asset

- 1-year renewable contract and 100% remote position
- Base salary ($30K) offered after the first month of reaching your sales quota
- 15% commission on license fees (high average sale point)
- 10% recurring commission on your sales (monthly fees) starting with the 3rd sale
