Digital Agency Business Development - Help Connect New Clients with Beautiful Technology - Austin, Boulder, Portland, Seattle
Culture Foundry is a digital agency seeking contract / freelance business development contributors focused on new client introductions.
Culture Foundry has good capabilities in terms of client retention / renewal (see our client list here: https://www.culturefoundry.com/clients/) and is effective at closing a deal with a new client once an introduction is made. The gap is at the top of the funnel, where we need to increase the volume of new qualified opportunities.
We are seeking contract / freelance business development contributors who will:
- Identify and pursue prospects who are a fit with Culture Foundry
- Lead an initial round of conversation and discovery
- Set up a meeting (in person, phone or online) with the prospect and a broader Culture Foundry team (likely attendees: prospective client, you, a Culture Foundry strategist, and a Culture Foundry proposal writer)
- Once it’s deemed that the next step is to generate a proposal, the Culture Foundry strategist and proposal writer will take lead.
Expectations:
- An investment of a minimum of 15 hours per month in business development activities
- Work your network to identify and pursue qualified opportunities
- Attend business development events in your area as a Culture Foundry representative
- Attend Culture Foundry’s weekly business development pipeline review meeting (30 minutes each week)
- Track all business development activity in Culture Foundry’s Pipedrive account (https://www.pipedrive.com/)
Compensation:
- $1,000/month stipend (paid at end of month)
- $250 for each new client contract signing (paid on signing)
- 10% of first year of revenue from new clients landed (paid on receipt of client payments by Culture Foundry)
- First year is defined as starting from the date of new client’s first invoice
- 3-month trial contract length, with an option to renew additional 3-month contracts, or convert month-to-month as results warrant
Support:
- $100/month allowance for business development expenses (lunches, networking events, etc.)

- Team availability to help close sales
Locations:
- We are a remote-workforce company, but also maintain offices in Seattle, Portland, Boulder and Austin.
