Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Education Sales Representative to join our team at Argument-Driven Inquiry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of the education industry. In this role, you will be responsible for selling a range of products and services, including Books, STEM Instructional Materials and Supplies, and subscription software to our propritary app, the ADI Learning Hub.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential customers and conduct outreach to generate sales
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Compensation Average Sales Value range: $100 - $2500 Average Sell-in cycle time: 1 - 6 months Commission Payout: 20% per sale Monthly Retainer: $1000 for 80 hours per month
Sales Goal The sales goal for the next 12 months is $350,000.
