Sales Person / Account Manager

This position includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

- Sales Territory: Columbia, SC and surrounding areas (beyond as determined by salesperson).

- Develop Referral Sources: leasing agents, property managers, architects, designers, general contractors, etc.

- Lead Prospecting: identify potential office furniture leads (sources – referrals, media, drive by’s, construction permits, economic development websites, etc.).

- Lead Qualification: qualify leads for actual need, key decision makers, opportunity to do business, size of project and timeline.

- Prospect Development: continue to qualify prospect regarding purchasing experience, decision criteria, and competitive environment.

- Proposal Development: develop project proposal based on all relevant information. Oversee the proposal design process.

- Win: if we bid it, we expect to win it. Once proposal is made, work the prospect until either we win or choose not to meet their terms. Analysis: after an award (win or lose) analyze our performance to improve.

- Account Management: Once we have won the business, follow the CEI account management process to ensure that what we have committed to the client will, in fact, be delivered.

- Daily Tracking: use the sales tracker to document your pipeline, referral source activity and project won. The tracker must be kept current and emailed to the branch manager on a daily basis.

- Feedback: be willing to accept and offer feedback. Reports to: President
