Supply Chain Company Seeking VP of Sales

Rapidly growing fulfillment company is looking to expand its sales footprint and is hiring a Vice President of Sales to help develop and lead the sales playbook for the next 2+ years.

We perform shipping and fulfillment for major e-commerce sellers. Our clients use us to reach 99% of their customers in 1-2 business days with our conveniently located fulfillment warehouses located in the United States and Canada. We are heavily used by businesses selling across Amazon, Wayfair, TJ Maxx, Etsy, Walmart, Target, Shopify Merchants and more.

Job Description:

We receive daily inbound leads via phone, email, and our website. We utilize Pipedrive for our CRM. Our clients (e-commerce sellers/companies) request quotes based on their requirements. As the VP of Sales it will be your responsibility to develop an ICP (Ideal Customer Profile), determine how to screen and priorities inbound leads, customize pricing and respond to the prospective client, and to close the sale.

We offer our clients pick-up at the port their containers arrive at, we unload and store their products in our warehouses, and when orders come in for their product, we handle all the shipping via UPS, FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL or a preferred freight/trucking vendor.

We have a preference (not a requirement) for VP of Sales candidates in the New Jersey or Los Angeles area. Remote o.k. if you are experienced.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and owning our CRM
  • Lead qualification
  • Client follow-up and drip
  • Presenting a Proposal
  • Networking via Social platforms like Linkedin
  • Sourcing additional marketing channels
  • Developing, owning and evolving the sales playbook
  • Hiring BDRs and SDRs to further support our growth

Required Skills/Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience sales
  • A Solution sales mindset, an excellent listener and expert at discovery
  • Experience with logistics, warehousing, shipping a HUGE PLUS!
  • Knowledge of CRM systems / Pipedrive
  • Should have an interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry and an ability to meet aggressive sales metrics
  • Proven sales track record selling services, including prospecting and closing skills
  • Excellent communications (verbal and written) skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and executive presence
