Help! My Account was Flagged for Removal. What Gives?

At the discretion of the site editors of Salesfolks, some user accounts, businesses, and/or sales job posts may be flagged for removal. The primary reasons for this occurring is because the editorial standards have not been met, a specific action or piece of content does meet our editorial standards, or a violation of our terms of service has occurred.

The following is a list of example actions that can trigger an account being flagged for removal. This is an example list, but is not exhaustive:

  • Providing inadequate levels of information
  • A lack of activity in the platform
  • Providing inaccurate information
  • Using the platform for any purpose other than its intended use
  • Publishing sales job opportunities without obvious material economic remuneration
  • Using the platform for any form of political discourse
  • Overstating the size of a sales opportunity or an unrealistic probability of an outcome
  • Messaging businesses or messaging salespeople in irrelevant ways
  • Abusing the platform for undue gains

Because of the large number of businesses and salespeople who use the platform, it is impossible for us to respond with detailed information about every specific account that has been flagged for removal. What was can say is that our editorial team is empowered to use their best judgement to flag accounts for removal if they feel the account is not a good fit for the platform, is exhibiting actions that do not add value to the platform, or are in violation of the terms of service.

Thank you!
