1099 Sales Representative. Penetration Testing, Phishing and many more
About the role SecureIT provides penetration testing, phishing simulations, security awareness services and many more to companies in the United States. We are building a small network of independent sales reps and partners who can introduce, qualify, and close B2B deals.
This is a 1099 contractor role. Compensation is commission only. There is no base salary and no monthly retainer.
What you will sell You will sell external and internal penetration tests, web application testing, phishing simulations, and retesting engagements. Typical deal size ranges from 10000 to 50000 USD depending on scope.
What you will do
You will prospect and engage B2B buyers such as IT managers, security leaders, and founders. You will run discovery calls, qualify needs, and work with our technical team on scoping when required. You will close deals and hand them off for delivery.
Referral only arrangements are also possible if you prefer introductions instead of full cycle sales.
Who this fits
This role fits someone with B2B services sales experience. Experience selling IT services or cybersecurity is preferred but not required. You should be comfortable working independently, managing your own pipeline, and being paid based on closed deals.
This role does not fit entry level sales candidates or people looking for a base salary.
Compensation
Commission is paid as a percentage of closed and collected revenue. Typical commission ranges from 15 to 25 percent depending on involvement in the sales cycle. Commissions are paid after SecureIT receives payment from the customer.
