About the role
Freway helps Shopify merchants recover lost revenue with AI agents that optimize checkout and customer engagement. We're looking for a closer — someone who can take a qualified problem (merchants leaking money at checkout) and turn it into signed business. Our target is $1M in new revenue over the next 12 months, and this role owns a meaningful slice of it.
If you've sold SaaS into ecommerce or SMB and like a short, fast sales cycle, this is a strong fit.
What you'll do
Build and own a pipeline of Shopify and ecommerce merchants through outbound prospecting, networking, and cold outreach Run discovery to understand each merchant's checkout and retention pain Demo the product and close deals against quarterly targets Maintain and grow your prospect database within your territory
What we're looking for
A track record of consistently hitting or beating quota in SaaS or B2B sales Comfort owning the full cycle from prospecting to close Strong written and verbal communication; confident on calls and demos Self-directed time management — you'll run your own book
Ecommerce, Shopify, or AI/SaaS selling experience is a plus but not required if you can sell.
Compensation
Structure: 1099 / contract Commission: 15% per sale Typical deal size: $6,000–$24,000 (avg sell-in cycle: 1–60 days) Earning potential: At a $15K average deal, 15% is ~$2,250 per close. Hitting the $1M target represents roughly $150K in commission across the year.
No signing bonus for this role.
