Commission-Only Sales Rep — Appointment Setter/Closer (AI Receptionist for Trade Businesses)

About David Delivers David Delivers builds AI-powered virtual receptionists for trade businesses — roofers, plumbers, HVAC companies, electricians, and general contractors. Every missed call is a missed job for these businesses, and most of them have no real system in place: it goes to voicemail, or nobody picks up at all. Our AI answers every call 24/7, holds a real conversation, and books the appointment straight into the calendar — even nights, weekends, and job-site hours when the owner physically can't answer.

The Opportunity We're looking for a commission-only appointment setter/closer to cold call trade business owners and sell them on the service. This is a full sales-cycle role: you'll be dialing, qualifying, pitching, and closing — not just booking demos for someone else to close. Pricing is simple and easy to sell: $500 one-time setup fee plus $497/month, and the ROI story sells itself (one recovered job pays for the entire service for months).

What You'll Be Doing

Cold calling trade business owners from a provided lead list (roofing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, general contracting) Qualifying prospects and running a short, outcome-focused pitch (no technical jargon required — we handle the demo) Closing deals and collecting setup fee + first month's payment Logging calls and outcomes so we can refine targeting together

Compensation

12% commission on every closed deal (setup fee + monthly value) $300/month bonus on top of commission 12-month sales goal: $600,000 in booked business OTE: $75,600 No cap on commission — the more you close, the more you earn 1099 contractor, fully remote, set your own hours

Who We're Looking For

Experience cold calling and closing, ideally in software/SaaS or services sales Comfortable handling objections and thinking on your feet — no rigid script required, just the ability to hold a real conversation Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight Bonus if you have experience selling to small business owners or trades/contractors specifically
