THE CONNER GROUP is seeking established Independent Manufacturer's Representatives to expand our presence throughout the utility, telecommunications, broadband, municipal, and rental equipment markets.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced sales professionals already calling on utility contractors, fiber optic contractors, municipalities, electric cooperatives, engineering firms, rental companies, and infrastructure contractors. We are looking for professionals with existing relationships who want to add a complementary line of equipment and increase their commission income.

Position Overview:

As an Independent Manufacturer's Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, identifying project opportunities, and generating equipment sales and rental revenue within your assigned territory.

This is a commission-based independent contractor position designed for experienced sales professionals who already maintain active relationships within the utility and telecommunications industries.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, municipalities, utilities, broadband providers, and rental companies. Identify equipment sales and rental opportunities. Generate leads and manage opportunities through the sales cycle. Coordinate equipment demonstrations and customer meetings. Provide market intelligence and competitive feedback. Work closely with ownership to develop territory growth strategies. Represent THE CONNER GROUP professionally within assigned territories. Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous outside sales experience preferred. Existing relationships within utility, telecommunications, broadband, municipal, or rental equipment markets will be helpful. Self-motivated and highly organized. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage your territory. Equipment industry experience is preferred but not required. Proven track record of business development and sales success is highly desired.
