I was introduced to sales in my current job at my sister's paint by number kit business. Initially, I was not at all interested in being a "pushy salesperson" as they seemed insincere and just trying to sell you something you don't need. However, I came to see the process of finding the right point of contact, exciting and challenging and then connecting the right business for the product, to be very satisfying and fulfilling as well as profitable. It's not hard to sell something when the product perfectly aligns with their brand mission and aesthetic. I see this role not as a sales role but as a partnership and brand alliance-finding role. And because I want to sincerely represent your company, it needs to be the right fit for me as well. I'm looking for a company with values and goals that stand out in a world of consumer similarities.
